V\u00e4dret hj\u00e4lpte oss d\u00e5 det skulle b\u00f6rja bl\u00e5sa sm\u00e5spik n\u00e4r vi var utanf\u00f6r Lauwersoog. Som land betraktat k\u00e4nns det v\u00e4ldigt fint och v\u00e4lkomnande med trevliga m\u00e4nniskor \u00f6verallt. Som alla talar Engelska! Bra sortiment i aff\u00e4rerna och fina marinor med helt OK priser, mellan 10 och 15 euro per natt. (Just nu ligger vi i IJmuidens Seaport Marina f\u00f6r 23 euro s\u00e5 det st\u00e4mmer inte helt)<br \/>\nTrevligast \u00e4r nog deras b\u00e5tar. Vattnen och hamnarna formligen kryllar av gamla skutor och sm\u00e5 traditionella flatbottenb\u00e5tar, de flesta i fantastiskt fint skick. Att studera hur en ung skeppare hanterar en skuta p\u00e5 20m i en tr\u00e5ng hamn kan vara l\u00e4rorikt, d\u00e4r en annan tycker det \u00e4r tr\u00e5ngt l\u00e4gger de gladligen till efter att f\u00f6rst ha v\u00e4nt hela h\u00e4rligheten. Snyggt&#8230;<br \/>\nMan skall ju ha en skopa kultur ocks\u00e5 n\u00e4r man bes\u00f6ker nya l\u00e4nder. Hel\u00e9nes uppfattning hittills vad g\u00e4ller kulturen och &#8220;ut och spana&#8221; har inskr\u00e4nkt sig till m\u00e4klarf\u00f6nster d\u00e4r noggrann koll av prisniv\u00e5er o dyl varit viktigt. Gissa om jag blev f\u00f6rv\u00e5nad n\u00e4r jag helt pl\u00f6tsligt i Hoorn vid Ijselmeer blir runtsl\u00e4pad av Helene p\u00e5 en tur genom stan med stopp vid varje kyrka eller annan sev\u00e4rdhet i stan.
